3modes of operation

Ariumcan oper'ate in any of the following ways:

-Automatie: Without an operator onboard (UTO).

-Manual: With or without assistance from an ATP system, through aconsole located on the front of the end cars.

-Conventional: For operations requiring the presence of a driver, thevehicle design allows for the installation of aclosed drivingcab.

Mechanicalbrake

Thismonorail system is equipped with an electro-pneumatic mechanicalbrake on each of the trailer cars. In addition,the brake systemprovides blending, wheel anti-lock and pneumatic suspensionregulation functions. Three types ofbraking are provided:

-Service brake.

-Emergency brake.

- Parking brake.
